...Thank you for your interest and support of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians in our Diocese. The promotion and advancement of appropriate music during liturgical celebrations is in proper keeping with the directives of the Second Vatican Council, in particular of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy. It is only fitting that the various pastoral musicians in our diocese be properly trained and informed of the directives contained in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy and the various documents subsequently promulgated by both the Vatican and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. As you are currently the temporary chapter director for the NPM in the Diocese of Palm Beach, I ask that you work with the Diocesan Office of Liturgy in coordinating the various workshops and festivals that are normally offered on the diocesan level...
